Below are actual statistics from the 2022-2023 Miami Heat Basketball team. These data represent the percentage of field goals each player made during the regular season (calculated by the number of field goals made divided by the number of field goals attempted). In basketball, a field goal is any shot taken from the court. Field goals include two- pointers, three-pointers, layups, and slam dunks–with a higher score indicating more shots made per attempt, so if a player has a field goal percentage of 35, that means they made 35% of the shots they tried to make.
